Who's the Happiest Gay
Couple in the World? Why Rick & Steve!
by Tallulah
Givehead
Unfortunately, Ta
simply doesn't have enough money leftover after
buyin' wigs and shoes to
afford pay cable like the
LOGO channel ... even when everyone's all giggly
over the irreverant new series,
Rick & Steve. Luckily for me movies and TV shows
get put onto DVD so soon after they've been released
/ aired that it's not like missin'em at all!

American Pie vs Another Gay
Movie
Totally rocking, Another Gay Movie takes us on an ass-tacular journey as four adorable gay teens do their best to get laid the summer they graduate from high school. Yes. You HAVE heard the plot before ... in several movies of its ilk ... American Pie being the most recently famous (Now relegated to the land of un-ending, un-spectacular bad sequels.) Boys Don't Cry
- The Top 5 Must-See Lesbian Films
Oscar Award-winning

harassment and bigotry shown towards a transgender
teen, Teena Brandon. Actress
Hillary Swank (who won an Oscar for this role)
portrays Teena, who has such great inner conflicts
with herself and her sexuality, but eventually
chooses to live her life as Brandon.

Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn (who may be turning
over in their respective graves with that
comparison) as a hunky straight guy pretends he's
gay to get a date with a woman who only likes to
hang out with gay men.

Adam and Steve and Bob and Chris
A pioneering actor in
the independent film world,
Craig Chester scored a 1993 Independent Spirit
Award nomination for his role in the drama
Swoon (1992), and has appeared in many other
Sundance faves. In "Adam
& Steve" Craig Chester makes his directorial
debut with this raucous and candy-colored romantic
comedy about the pitfalls of falling in love in New
York City.

Bear, Bitch, and Boy .... Muy Bueno
An amusing and
touching film about reinterpreting the idea of
"family,"
Bear Cub tells the engaging story of Pedro (José
Luis García-Pérez), an attractive gay dentist
living an active single life in Madrid. He offers to
take care of his adorable 9-year-old nephew Bernardo
(the remarkable
David Castillo) for two weeks while the child's
